We currently live surrounded by technology these days. Our interactions not only happen at different times but in fragments and in different platforms. Our society has been changing dramatically, perhaps without us being aware.
The inner voice that whispers to us that we need to take a step back and rethink our interactions supported by technology will only get louder and louder.
We have a tremendous opportunity and responsibility to make sure that we use technology for the collective as well as individual good.
We need to go beyond technology and data to reach human insights and wisdom
Another great timelapse video that captures Montana!
In as much as I love technology, I have come to the realization that we need a break from it. Doing so, should allow us to reconnect with many of the things in life that we have stopped paying attention to.
Below is a video that captures in such a way the lifestyle that we see more and more these days. Almost everywhere you go there is someone looking at a mobile device.
I honestly think that we need to go back to the heart to heart connections and we need to really make it a priority to take a break from technology at least once a day.
Here’s how the conversation started with Tiffany:
Signing off for my tech Shabbat! I know a lot of u are trying it with me. See u on the other side:) have a great weekend everyone!

Isn’t it great to have moments where you connect people you meet and end up having meaningful conversations?
It is becoming more of a luxury these days to have someone’s attention for a long period of time. Perhaps we are getting used to having fragmented or asynchronous communications as a result of technology and social media.
Genuine interactions, without an agenda, without interests of any kind are very important to me. Therefore, I truly agree with Kare Anderson as she says in the video below that …
… when two people bring the best side in each other at the same time, that’s where the best bonding happens!
Every time I need a boost of inspiration, I think about this one video.[4:50] – “Do you think this is just another day in your life? It’s not just another day, it’s the one day that is given to you, today! … it’s given to you, it’s a gift. It’s the only gift that you have right now, and the only appropiate response is gratefulness.”
If you feel like forwarding, here are some of my other favorite parts of the video:[1:52] – “When we see our souls in nature it also connects us to every one of us because it’s clear that it’s all connected in one…” [2:36] – “God is a personal journey we all want to be on, to be inspired, to feel that we are connected to a universe that celebrates life…” [3:18] – “Nature’s beauty is a gift that cultivates appreciation and gratitude…” [7:08] – “Look at the faces of the poople that we meet, each one has an incredible story behind their face…” [9:16] – “Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you. Then, it will really be, a good day!”
This video describes pretty much how I feel living in Montana, perhaps I had not realized much until I watched it and I couldn’t help but share it here in hope that I will be able to prepare more for the cold weather that is coming soon my way.
